Web browser options for legacy Windows versions
This is a list of alternative web browsers I like, focusing on the segment mentioned in the title of this page. It's ordered by minimum operating system required, but you can use any of the options below in any version - it just needs to be supported by the web browser. ;)
Windows XP and higher
New Moon
New Moon is a Pale Moon fork that restores support for Windows XP. It also offer builds for processors that don't support SSE2 instructions. The developer maintains two versions of the web browser, one based on Pale Moon v28 and other based on Pale Moon v27.

Serpent
Serpent is a Basilisk fork that restores support for Windows XP. It also offer builds for processors that don't support SSE2 instructions. The developer maintains two versions of the web browser, one based on Basilisk v55 (experimental) and other based on Basilisk v52.

K-Meleon Goanna
K-Meleon Goanna is a K-Meleon fork which took place of the original project, which has not received updates since 2017. It's a very lightweight browser that consumes little memory. It also offer builds for processors that doesn't support SSE or SSE2 instructions.

Browser is a Borealis Navigator fork which took place of the original project, which was abandoned.

Iceape-UXP
Iceape-UXP is an Iceape fork that restores support for Windows XP.
Mypal68
Mypal68 is a fork of Firefox v68 that restores support for Windows XP. It's unstable and can cause blue screens.
Supermium
Supermium is a fork of the latest Chromium that restores support for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8.x, among other features. It also has plans to support Windows 2000.
Windows 95 and higher
Winternight-Classic
Winternight-Classic is a RetroZilla fork which (probably will take) took place of the original project, which (seems to be) was abandoned.
