I miss Ash Ketchum

It's been more than one year since the Pokémon World Coronation Series Masters Eight Tournament ended. Or, in simple words, since Ash won the World Championship. The boy started small, but had a big dream. After a lot of tournaments and defeats, he finally won a official Pokémon League: the Manalo Conference, in Alola, 2019.

There was too much fanservice (in a good way). Ash climbed the league, and was among the top 8. Ash beated Steven, Cynthia and finally Leon. I remember the day Ash won: I missed school to watch Camaleão's livestream of the Japanese broadcast. There were many emotions and feelings rushing at once.

I got a friend to watch Journeys with me because of Ash's Riolu - he loves Lucario. Sadly we didn't finished watching yet, since he's very busy with his personal life. I still didn't started Pokémon Horizons because I want to watch with him.

I wanted so much that Ash's exit from anime were more smooth. Why not taking Ash as a experient master for Liko and Roy? Their adventure with Rising Volt Tacklers looks sooo cool, Ash would be awesome there and would made his departure as protagonist much better in my opinion.

Making it clear: I'm not that stupid type of person that hates Goh, Liko, Roy and everyone that's not Ash, Misty or Brock. I love Goh, in fact I don't hate anyone in this anime. I even love Cilan, someone everyone seems to hate. I just wish the transition to new characters had been smoother. Goh appearing as the protagonist alongside Ash didn't help, as he was wiped out too.

Anyway, I hope Ketchum's story continues, because there's a LOT of things to explore. Kunihiko Yuyama already said he'll probably return one day. I hope they do it right, with fierce battles and great development for our boy.

I know one thing: I'll never change my Champion's wallpaper. <3
